Job summary

Sonova USA Inc. in Kent, WA is seeking a Hearing Care Coordinator to work with clinical staff, schedule appointments, verify insurance benefits, and assist patients within the clinic.

You will greet patients, handle outbound scheduling calls, collect intake forms, manage payments, and support inventory and equipment needs while assisting with community outreach events and remote support for a secondary Suffolk, VA clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 2+ years in a health care environment preferred.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations preferred.
• EMR/EHR experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a positive and professional attitude.
• Place outbound calls to schedule follow-up hearing tests and consultations.
• Collect patient intake forms and maintain files/notes.
• Schedule/confirm patient appointments.
• Complete benefit checks and insurance authorizations.
• Provide first level support to patients and assist with payments.
