Job summary

NationsBenefits is seeking a Hearing Ambassador to assist licensed dispensers, engage customers, educate on hearing wellness, schedule appointments, and grow the center’s outreach across Sam’s Club locations in Merrillville, IN. The role emphasizes outbound calling and cross-selling non-hearing aid products.

On-site position requiring strong customer service, sales, and communication skills, with a focus on meeting daily test and appointment targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service, sales, or retail experience.
• Experience working with PC hardware and software including general computer and Internet knowledge.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational, problem-solving/troubleshooting skills, and presentation skills.
• Previous experience with patient/customer appointment scheduling.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Know HAC products and services; engage Members.
• Set stage for tests and full hearing aid purchases.
• Make 30–50 outbound calls daily to customers.
• Secure 4+ daily hearing tests (immediate or scheduled).
• Promote non-hearing aid products when appropriate.
• Aim for 50% increase in non-hearing aid product sales.
• Learn and use handheld screener to get qualified leads.
• Assist in scheduling return visits from past tested Members.
• Promote HAC at Sam’s Club events and other marketing events.
• Work mainly in the club, intercepting and setting tests.
