Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC is seeking a Level 1 Supply Chain team member to manage inventory, restock supplies, and support timely deliveries. You will work with SAP and Pyxis, perform cycle counts, and ensure accuracy in stock and shipments.

The role requires at least 1 year in distribution/warehousing or related areas, with a preference for customer-service experience and a valid driver's license. This is an on-site hospital position within Duke Health.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/G.E.D. required.
• Some college level coursework preferred, but not required.
• At least 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehousing, shipping, receiving, logistics, customer service, or inventory control.
• Strongly prefer experience in a fast-paced, customer service environment.
• Valid Driver's License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Distribute and restock supplies and/or linen to end users in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Use Supply Chain technologies (SAP and Pyxis) to document movement of supplies.
• Perform cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
• Check expiration dates and discard expired products.
• Accept and sign for deliveries from distributors as necessary.
• Inspect shipments, enter Goods Receipts into SAP, file packing slips.
• Report shipment discrepancies to SC onsite management.
• Prepare and ship Vendor Returns and rotate stock.
