Job summary

Sheppard Pratt Towson Campus seeks a Central Staffing Coordinator to manage intraday scheduling, timekeeping, and staffing adjustments based on real-time census and patient flow. You'll influence unit schedules and assist with holidays, leave, trainings, and events.

You will generate reports, provide leadership with workforce insights, and escalate actions to meet Joint Commission and state standards. Competitive benefits and tuition support accompany this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 1-2 years administrative and/or clinical work experience in a clinical setting, including staffing.
• Preferred 1 year of experience as Staffing coordinator, Timekeeper, or Workforce Analyst.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT).
• Ability to work independently and manage a high call volume.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Incorporate staff planning and intraday schedule management to adjust staffing as needs change.
• Create robust reporting and analyze census/acuity trends to optimize workforce.
• Provide insights to unit managers to create efficient schedules and address holidays,leave, training, events.
• Escalate urgent actions to ensure Joint Commission and state standards are met.
