Job summary

Healthcare Nursing Center is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to support the HR team. You will schedule staff, process time-off requests, and coordinate onboarding and terminations to ensure smooth operations.

You will collaborate with department managers, monitor staffing levels, and analyze data to spot trends and opportunities for improvement. This role emphasizes people, processes, and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a scheduling or HR role.
• Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and scheduling software.
• Passion for people and process, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate staff scheduling, including creating and updating schedules and ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet patient needs
• Process and verify employee time-off requests, vacation, and other leave types
• Coordinate and facilitate staffing changes, including call-outs, onboarding, and terminations
• Develop and maintain effective communication with department managers, staff, and other stakeholders
• Analyze and report on staffing data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Participate in cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and implement best practices
