Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Leominster, Clinton, MA, is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to support nursing management with day-to-day staffing and scheduling. You will input data into the automated scheduling system, manage time and attendance, and help ensure patient flow and staffing coverage across units.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication. On-site work with a Monday–Sunday schedule and weekend rotations is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to learn new software quickly.
• Familiar with automated scheduling systems and English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Identify staffing needs and confer with managers throughout the day.
• Enter new hires into automated scheduling and update schedules daily.
• Maintain time and attendance records and payroll data; liaise with Payroll.
• Generate productivity and staffing reports; distribute to Finance and CNO.
• Participate in daily Patient Flow bed meetings and staff call attempts.
• Train nurse managers on scheduling systems and ensure schedule accuracy.
