Job summary

Azalea Orthopedics, a division of OrthoLoneStar, is seeking a Service Center Representative in the Azalea Patient Access call center to schedule new patients accurately and deliver excellent customer service. The role requires attention to detail and accurate recording of patient information in the practice management system.

You will schedule patients on physicians’ calendars, respond to faxed referrals, obtain authorizations as needed, and document all information.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Healthcare preferred.
• 1 year of medical scheduling experience preferred.
• Excellent telephone and customer service skills required.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule new patients for appointments accurately.
• Record patient information accurately in the practice management system.
• Respond to referrals and calls, scheduling as needed.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Communicate with physicians, PA’s, NP’s and staff to optimize schedules.
• Provide friendly, patient-focused service.
