The role requires strong communication, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling sensitive data while supporting a team focused on exceptional patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Certification in Patient Access preferred but not required.
• Experience in patient registration, insurance verification, or customer service.
• Experience with EHR and scheduling software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify demographic, financial, and insurance information.
• Input data into the EHR and ensure forms are completed accurately.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility; obtain prior authorizations when needed.
• Explain co-pays, deductibles, and benefits; assist with payment options and plans.
• Schedule appointments and communicate pre-appointment instructions.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure a seamless patient experience while protecting confidentiality.
