Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of healthcare admissions, intake coordination, CNA, or medical office administration experience.
• Knowledge of insurance verification, authorizations, and EMR systems required.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee intake process for new patient admissions and ensure required documentation, authorizations, and consents are obtained accurately and timely.
• Conduct weekly audits to maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Assist in scheduling patient appointments and coordinating with external providers as needed.
• Interact with state/federal agencies, insurance partners, and inter-hospital partners; participate in meetings with management.
• Contribute to the formulation of standard operating procedures.
