Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Patient Reception Representative for a full-time day shift at the CMG Call Center in Newtown, PA. You will greet patients, verify insurance and demographics, schedule outpatient services, and process check-ins and check-outs with accuracy and empathy.

The role requires one year in a healthcare receptionist or customer service setting, familiarity with ICD-10/CPT, and solid Microsoft Office skills. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience as receptionist or clerk in healthcare or one year customer service.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT codes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel familiarity preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones promptly and courteously, routing calls to the correct area.
• Schedule and cancel appointments and tests per CH policy.
• Perform patient check-in/out and verify demographics and insurance.
• Collect co-pays and balances at check-in and at time of service.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation in the system.
• Assist with referrals and pre-authorizations as needed.
