Responsibilities

• Answers telephones promptly and courteously, routing calls to appropriate area/individual.
• Schedules and cancels appointments; schedules outpatient tests and surgeries per policy.
• Prepares for day; reviews eligibility and reports; prepares new patient charts.
• Greets patients/visitors professionally; informs about privacy policies and delays.
• Performs registration; ensures accurate demographic/insurance info and HIPAA compliance; checks you-out fields.
