Mercyhealth seeks a courteous clinical receptionist to manage front-desk operations in a busy Illinois facility. You will greet visitors, schedule appointments in Epic, verify demographics, and collect co-pays while ensuring privacy and accuracy in patient records.

Responsibilities include answering calls, routing messages, and supporting cashiering duties. Flexibility for peak hours and adherence to privacy standards are essential in this role.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous medical reception or reception experience preferred.
• Understands and demonstrates Critical Moments of Service techniques and standards.
• Ensures reception and lobby areas are well maintained and clean.
• May be required to work flexible hours and overtime during peak hours.
• Basic knowledge of Epic preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Answer incoming telephone calls and forward to appropriate personnel.
• Assist patients with MyChart signup and activation.
• Load, verify, and update patient demographics in EMR Epic.
• Collect co-pays and post payments in Epic per Cash Handling Policy.
• Prepare and print documents, faxes, notices, and route communications.
• Support front desk by screening visitors and managing mail and supplies.
