Job summary

Mercyhealth Wisconsin and Illinois is seeking a medical receptionist to manage front desk operations, patient registration in Epic, and cashiering tasks. The role includes greeting visitors, collecting co-pays, and ensuring privacy and accuracy in patient records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior medical reception or front desk experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Epic scheduling/registration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming telephone calls and directs to appropriate personnel.
• Registers patients in Epic and handles check-in processes.
• Loads patient demographics, scans insurance, and collects co-pays.
• Maintains lobby area, handles mail, supplies, and receptionist duties.
• Performs cashiering and daily close-out tasks per policy.
