Job summary

Datavant is a healthcare data collaboration platform seeking a reliable customer service professional in Olympia, WA. You will handle inquiries, manage information requests, and maintain high service standards while following HIPAA requirements.

You will work an 8.5-hour shift between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. ET, with breaks, documenting all interactions in our systems and collaborating with teammates to ensure patient data is handled securely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institute.
• Friendly, professional communication and strong customer service skills.
• Experience with a multi-line phone system and MS-Office is beneficial.
• Ability to stay organized and detail-oriented in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to learn HIPAA-related procedures and internal processes.

Responsibilities

• Schedule a shift within 8.5 hours between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. ET, including breaks.
• Answer calls and inquiries with professional customer service.
• Handle release of information phone calls and inquiries accurately.
• Review and respond to inquiries via phone, email, or written correspondence.
• Document interactions in company software systems with detail.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all policies and procedures.
• Meet productivity and quality expectations for the department.
• Attend mandatory meetings and trainings as directed.
