Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institute recognized by the State Dept. of Education.
• Friendly, professional communication and strong customer service skills.
• Experience with a multi-line phone system; intermediate/advanced MS-Office knowledge.
• Experience in Data Entry, Medical Records, Healthcare, Insurance Claims Processing and proofreading documents.
• Must stay organized with strong attention to detail.
• Must pass annual introductory HIPAA examination.
• Must take and pass a 90-day ROI Certification course with a score of 85% or higher.
• Vaccination requirements may apply; exemptions reviewed case-by-case by HR; state-specific conditions may apply.

Responsibilities

• Answer and conduct business on the telephone with excellent customer service.
• Handle release of information related telephone calls and inquiries accurately and timely.
• Review, research, resolve and respond to inquiries via telephone, email or written correspondence.
• Document all calls, inquiries and resolutions in the software systems.
• Follow department and site procedures; maintain productivity and quality expectations.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional rapport with coworkers and management.
• Attend mandatory training and maintain attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
