Job summary

Continental is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to support the ESSH management system development, governance, and compliance activities. The role focuses on maintaining processes, documentation, audits, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

The position entails coordinating governance frameworks, tracking regulatory obligations, and contributing to performance reporting while ensuring audit readiness and corrective actions are effectively implemented.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Technology or related field
• 3 years of safety experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments

Responsibilities

• Support ESSH management system development, maintenance and improvement.
• Coordinate governance frameworks, process maps and documentation.
• Track regulatory requirements, permits, inspections and reporting obligations.
• Assist with ESSH performance metrics, dashboards and reporting tools.
• Administer document control programs and records management.
• Prepare for internal/external audits and certification activities.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions and continuous improvement efforts.
