Job summary

Continental seeks an Environment, Health, and Safety specialist to support OSHA compliance and EHS programs at our Mount Pleasant, IA site. You will implement health and safety programs, conduct hazard assessments, train staff, and coordinate with corporate safety.

Responsibilities include safety training, regulatory liaison, incident investigation, and continuous improvement of safety culture across operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment supporting Safety, Health and Environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in technical problem solving, continuous improvement or project management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain EHS programs.
• Provide day-to-day safety and health program oversight.
• Coordinate industrial hygiene monitoring and health programs.
• Deliver safety training and communicate with corporate safety.
• Facilitate safety meetings and review accident reports.
