This EHSS Engineer role supports systems and drives programs to maintain a safe workplace and ensure compliance with EHSS regulations.

You will partner with the EHSS team to implement strategy, train associates, conduct hazard analyses, and manage records and reports across regulatory requirements, delivering measurable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental, natural or related science, engineering technology, occupational safety/industrial hygiene or fire safety.
• Associate degree with 1–3 years of EHSS experience acceptable.
• OHST certification with EHSS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support EHSS programs and drive execution to maintain a safe workplace and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to promote a safe and environmentally friendly work environment.
• Maintain records, permits and reports per local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Train associates on policies, procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Identify hazardous conditions through job hazard analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and manage workers' compensation processes with timely return-to-work.
• Conduct EHSS reviews, audits, and reports to sustain compliance and performance.
• Assist managers with government agencies, responders and customers on EHSS matters.
