Job summary

Continental Tire the Americas, LLC seeks a Health & Safety Specialist to drive ESSH program development and governance in a manufacturing setting. You will coordinate process standards, records, and compliance with regulatory requirements, and support audits and corrective actions for continuous safety improvements.

Role requires an associate degree in a safety-related field and at least 3 years of safety experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a safety-related field is required.
• At least 3 years of safety experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial settings.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; no relocation assistance offered.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of the ESSH management system.
• Coordinate governance, processes, and documentation for ESSH.
• Translate regulatory requirements into structured, repeatable processes.
• Develop process maps, workflows, and responsibility matrices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify duties, requirements, and performance measures.
• Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement in ESSH performance.
• Assist with audits, inspections, and corrective actions to ensure readiness.
