Job summary

HCSC is seeking an Account Manager to serve as the primary contact for assigned customers and brokers, strengthening relationships while supporting account retention, service delivery, renewals, and overall customer satisfaction.

This role partners closely with clients, brokers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to address customer needs, resolve issues, coordinate benefit-related activities, and ensure successful implementation and ongoing account management.

Qualifications

• 2 years of health care management Marketing Service Representative or 5 years of sales/marketing/health insurance experience.
• Knowledge of group health products, comparing benefits, and implementation process.
• Life and Health State Health Insurance Licenses or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Interpersonal, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers and broker relationships.
• Manage day-to-day account servicing and timely resolution of inquiries.
• Support retention and renewal strategies through proactive engagement.
• Coordinate new account implementations, renewals, and enrollment activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex service issues and ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare account reports, contractual documentation, and customer communications.
• Maintain accurate customer records and account data.
• Facilitate customer meetings, enrollment sessions, and benefit education.
• Identify customer needs and suggest solutions aligned with business goals.
• Ensure HIPAA, regulatory, and company policy compliance.
