Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) is seeking an Account Manager to be the primary contact for assigned customers and brokers. You will support renewals, enrollments, and service delivery while coordinating with sales and internal teams to ensure satisfaction and retention.

The role requires strong consultative, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on relationships and long-term account success, and HIPAA/regulatory compliance knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience in health care management marketing/ services or 5 years in sales/marketing/health insurance with processing and coordination of services.
• Knowledge of group health products, benefits comparison, and implementation.
• Life and Health State Health Insurance Licenses or obtain within 90 days of starting.
• Interpersonal skills to interact professionally with internal and external contacts.
• Analytical and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted partner and primary contact for assigned customers and broker relationships.
• Manage day-to-day account servicing activities and timely resolution of inquiries.
• Support account retention and renewal strategies through proactive client engagement and relationship management.
• Coordinate new account implementations, renewals, and enrollment activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex service issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prepare account reports, contractual documentation, and customer communications.
• Maintain accurate customer records, documentation, and account data.
• Facilitate customer meetings, enrollment sessions, and benefit education opportunities.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions that align with business objectives and benefit strategies.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Support special projects and initiatives for retention, operational excellence, and growth.
