Job summary

Cengage Group seeks a Director of Web Experience Design to shape the web strategy and lead a high-performing design team. You will align UX/UI with product, marketing, analytics, and engineering to test hypotheses, prototype ideas, and optimize conversion across the customer journey.

Qualifications

3+ years of people management leading high-performing design teams.
Experience in ecommerce, growth, conversion optimization or other transactional digital experiences.
Deep expertise in UX and UI design principles and modern digital design processes.
Exceptional collaboration and communication to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Portfolio is required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

Set the vision for Cengage’s web experience and UX/UI strategy.
Partner with Product, Marketing, Analytics, and Engineering to run experiments (A/B/multi-variate).
Advance ecommerce and conversion experiences across the customer journey.
Design cohesive experiences from acquisition to engagement.
Use data to identify opportunities and prioritize improvements.
Foster a culture of continuous optimization and learning.
