F5 is seeking a seasoned Solutions Engineering leader to manage the SE team within the Tech vertical, driving technical sales and customer value. You will set objectives, align with product and sales, and scale the organization to meet aggressive goals.

Responsibilities include hiring, performance management, developing skills, and building partner plans while ensuring ethical and customer-focused execution across the team.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree required or relevant work experience.
• Several years’ experience managing technical SEs in a management role.
• Thorough understanding of networking technologies and applications delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technologies.
• Self-motivated with the ability to persuade direct reports and others outside the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels within an organization.

Responsabilités

• Uphold F5’s Business Code of Ethics and promptly report violations.
• Manage the SE team including evaluations, PTO approvals, delegating work, and interviewing candidates.
• Define core FY objectives, strategy and priorities for Engineers for the assigned SE Team.
• Partner with management to define headcounts quarterly and yearly for scalability.
• Manage candidate recruitments in collaboration with HR.
• Develop and organize SE organization to meet goals, including development.
• Develop and maintain an effective SE partner plan (PS, support, Marketing, PM).
• Scale the SE organization to meet objectives.
• Develop SE retention, recognition, compensation and career planning.
• Develop SE skills assessment and job planning.
• Ensure SE team is customer focused — drive requirements, communicate trends, ensure customer success.
