Job summary

F5, a leader in cybersecurity and application services, seeks a Senior Solutions Engineering Manager to oversee the SE team in the Tech vertical. You will set objectives, manage performance, and ensure the SE organization scales to meet ambitious goals while aligning with the company’s broader strategy.

You’ll guide recruiting, develop staff, and partner with product and sales teams to translate customer needs into effective F5 solutions. Strong leadership and networking expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing technical SEs in a management role.
• Thorough understanding of networking technologies and applications delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for multiple levels of the organization.
• Self-motivated with ability to persuade and influence.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Uphold the company's ethics and report violations promptly.
• Lead SE team with performance evaluations, PTO approvals, and staffing decisions.
• Define objectives and strategies for the SE team and align with FP goals.
• Plan headcounts quarterly and yearly to ensure scalability and target achievement.
• Collaborate with HR on recruitments and staffing plans.
• Foster cross-functional teamwork and drive effective internal communications.
• Develop and organize SE org to meet goals and professional development needs.
• Maintain an effective partner plan with PS, support, Marketing, PM, etc.
• Scale the SE org to meet objectives and drive growth.
• Oversee retention, recognition, compensation, and career planning.
• Assess SE skills and plan job development.
