Job summary

F5 is seeking a Senior Manager for Solutions Engineering to lead the SE team within the F5 Tech vertical with a focus on technical sales. You will define objectives, build plans, and drive the team's capability to meet company goals, including cross-functional collaboration with product, sales, and support.

You will manage recruiting, performance, and career development, ensure scalable org design, and communicate strategy to customers and partners while upholding F5’s ethics and standards.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree required or relevant work experience.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels within an organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Solutions Engineering team including performance evaluations and staffing decisions.
• Define core FY objectives, strategy and priorities for Engineers for the SE Team.
• Partner with management to define headcounts quarterly and yearly.
• Develop and maintain an effective SE partner plan and ensure customer focus.
• Present F5 strategy, solution messaging and roadmap to customers and partners.
• Drive Product Requirements and communicate market trends to PM and PD.
