Hidden Jobs is seeking a high-impact leader to scale a regional solutions engineering organization for an open-source observability platform. You will pair people leadership with hands-on deal involvement, partnering closely with sales leadership to drive enterprise opportunities and evolve the technical pre-sales motion.

The role is 100% remote with a national footprint, offering a clear path to scale, strong cross-functional collaboration, and opportunities to influence product and GTM

Qualifications

• Ideally located on the East Coast of the United States.
• At least 2 years of experience in second-line solutions engineering leadership.
• Demonstrated success scaling teams to 30+ employees in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
• Background in open source, developer-focused GTM motions, or observability.
• Extensive experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles.

Responsabilités

• Build, manage, and grow a regional solutions engineering team toward 20+ members, preparing the org to scale across multiple products, segments, and go-to-market motions.
• Co-own strategic opportunities with the VP of Sales and adjacent leaders, helping to shape playbook, enablement, and job architecture.
• Champion open-source, developer-centric go-to-market approaches and act as a cultural anchor for collaborative, low-ego teamwork.
• Serve as a thought leader internally and externally, channeling field feedback into product and GTM strategy.
• Engage directly with customers on technical and strategic conversations while remaining flexible and willing to debate constructively.
