Affirm, Inc. is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer Leader to guide a growing team in delivering technical excellence across deals and merchant engagements. You will actively participate in deals, lead integrations, and partner with merchant leaders to win business.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong API/integration knowledge, and ability to translate requirements into actionable solutions while coaching others on AI-enabled development and testing practices.

Qualifikationen

• BA/BS in business or technology.
• 4–6+ years in Sales Engineering or similar customer-facing tech role, plus 3–4 years of people management.
• Proven ability to lead technical customer conversations and advance deals.
• Experience with API-based integrations and at least one programming language.
• Strong communication and technical judgment to translate requirements into integration recommendations.

Aufgaben

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Sales Engineers with clear expectations.
• Support live technical discovery and solution presentations during deals.
• Partner with merchant leadership when leadership is needed.
• Develop deep knowledge of Affirms products, APIs, and integration options.
• Build, test, and troubleshoot integrations in sandbox environments.
• Use AI tools in technical work and coach the team to apply them.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Revenue to design merchant solutions.
• Translate merchant requirements into actionable product feedback.
• Create an inclusive team environment with feedback and growth opportunities.
