Kimmel & Associates is helping a well-established heavy equipment dealer recruit a Vice President of Product Support to lead parts, service, training, and product support sales across a multi-branch territory.

The role reports to the COO and guides two-thirds of the workforce, driving performance, customer relations, and a strong safety culture while shaping long-term growth and workforce development.

Qualifikationen

• 20+ years of progressive leadership experience in parts, service, and product support operations.
• Experience with a major equipment OEM or competitive equipment dealership preferred.
• Demonstrated success implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• A proven track record of delivering sustained, measurable improvements in operational performance and financial results.
• Strong analytical capabilities, including experience using data and performance metrics to guide business decisions.
• Experience supporting customers across multiple industries and business sizes, with a focus on improving productivity, equipment performance, and operating costs.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence, develop, and align teams across a multi-location organization.
• A people-first leadership approach that builds trust, promotes accountability, and earns employee commitment.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on customer experience, profitability, and employee development.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory, with occasional out-of-state travel for training and meetings.

Aufgaben

• Provide executive leadership and champion a safety culture across locations.
• Oversee inventory planning, purchasing, logistics, distribution, and parts availability.
• Lead regional service teams responsible for field service, shop repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Develop parts and service sales strategies to reduce ownership costs and improve profitability.
• Strengthen product support in Mining, Quarry & Aggregates markets to boost productivity.
• Oversee technical support resources, troubleshooting, and technician development programs.
• Use KPIs and financial data to improve productivity and control expenses.
• Collaborate with sales, rental, marketing, IT, and talent development to align product support with business goals.
• Recruit, coach, and develop leaders across parts and service organizations.
• Collaborate with the executive team and OEM partners on priorities and growth initiatives.
• Travel to multiple branches and represent the company in industry events as needed.
