Job summary

Lob is transforming direct mail with technology and a modern logistics engine. The Business Operations Manager will own cross-functional programs spanning Finance, Product, Engineering, Legal, the Print & Delivery Network, and Go-to-Market, turning ambiguous problems into documented, measured processes with named owners.

You'll drive program execution, deliver analysis using Lob's data and AI tooling, and document outcomes for lasting ownership while supporting company-wide operating cadences.

Qualifications

• 4-7+ years post-undergrad in management consulting/corporate strategy (client-facing, multi-stakeholder delivery) or business operations, strategic finance, revenue operations, or chief-of-staff work with direct ownership of an operationally complex domain.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Industry fit: B2B SaaS, marketplace, logistics, or other operationally intensive business.
• Familiarity with BI/data warehouse tooling and AI-assisted analysis expected; SQL helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own Program Execution: Run three to five concurrent cross-functional programs with defined end state, status, dependency owners, and target completion date.
• Drive outcomes across teams: push programs to completion across Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, Partner Operations, Solutions, and Go-to-Market.
• Deliver the Analysis: produce analysis behind program decisions using Lob's data and reporting stack and available AI tooling.
• Hand Off What You Build: document each program on completion and transition it to a permanent owner with a surviving metric.
• Cover the Gaps: provide FP&A, Deal Desk, and operations analytics support and assist planning of company cadences like QBRs and leadership offsites.
• Program Management Chops: scope ambiguous work, sequence dependencies, and hold owners to dates across multiple orgs.
• Familiarity with BI/data warehouse tooling and AI-assisted analysis expected; SQL helpful but not required.
