Job summary

SentiLink is hiring a Manager to own the model governance function end to end. You will lead a team of data scientists and governance professionals, set long-term strategy, and be accountable for governance practices and delivery. This is a lead-from-the-front role with hands-on involvement when needed.

The role is remote-based in the United States, with responsibilities across governance, validation, and customer-facing interactions to ensure security and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in model risk management, model validation, or governance.
• 4+ years of people management in governance teams.
• Deep knowledge of model governance for financial institutions and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3+ data scientists and governance professionals.
• Set long-term strategy for the governance function and day-to-day execution.
• Own relationships with data science, engineering, partner success, and sales for governance.
• Prepare validation reports and governance documentation for leadership, customers, auditors, and regulators.
• Balance strategic work with customer and regulatory demands while guiding the team roadmap.
