Job summary

Valon is seeking a Head of Infrastructure to lead ValonOS cloud and developer infrastructure, directing a multi-year strategy across compute, storage, data platforms, and CI/CD. You will manage managers and senior leaders, balance reliability with developer productivity, and partner with product, security, and operations to deliver a scalable, secure platform.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading large-scale infrastructure programs.
• SRE and reliability focus with customer-facing systems.
• Experience setting strategy across production infra and developer experience.
• Hands-on with cloud providers (AWS/GCP) and modern tooling.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a multi-year infrastructure strategy for Cloud and Developer Infra.
• 5Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing org including managers and senior ICs.
• Own portfolio roadmap and investments across compute, storage, data platforms, CI/CD, observability.
• Set standards for reliability, security, ownership, incident management, and productivity.
• Partner with execs to align infra priorities with product strategy and business goals.
• Build planning and governance mechanisms to make progress visible.
• Stay hands-on to guide architecture and key decisions.
• Recruit and develop leaders; foster a culture of accountability.
