Job summary

CVS Health in HR Technology space seeks an Engineering Leader to guide multi-cloud infrastructure, DevOps and internal platforms. You'll define platform strategy, build scalable IPs, and drive operational excellence for faster, reliable delivery.

Lead a high-performing organization of engineers and SREs, manage cloud budgets, and partner with architecture, product, and PMO. Strong emphasis on security, observability, and AI solution integration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading large software programs with KPIs and executive reporting.
• 8+ years guiding matrix-organization teams.
• 4+ years partnering with architecture, product and PMO to influence product development.
• 4+ years leading discovery sessions and enablement activities.
• 2+ years in a leadership role coordinating cross-functional teams.
• 2+ years influencing stakeholders and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Platform strategy and delivery across Architectures and AppDev.
• Build and scale internal platforms and self-service tools to reduce developer load.
• Lead DevOps, IaC, GitOps, and DevSecOps to embed security and observability.
• Design scalable, cost-effective solutions and enterprise integrations.
• Mentor cross-functional teams, manage cloud spend and vendor relations.
• Track engineering metrics like DORA, deployment frequency, MTTR while ensuring compliance.
• Evaluate and integrate AI/ML tools and cloud-native services into delivery.
