Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Engineering Leader to drive multi-cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and internal platforms. You will lead a high-performing organization of Platform Engineers, SREs, and DevOps professionals, shaping strategy, architecture, and delivery across HR Technology platforms.

Strong leadership, collaboration, and execution are essential to succeed in a fast-paced environment. You will partner with Architecture, Product, and PMO, delivering scalable solutions while driving cost

Qualifications

10+ years leading technology & engineering programs with KPI reporting to senior leaders.
8+ years leading teams in a matrix organization.
4+ years partnering with architecture, product and PMO to influence development.
4+ years leading discovery sessions, workshops, demos, onboarding, enablement.
2+ years in a leadership role coordinating cross-functional teams.
2+ years influencing stakeholders, managing vendor/budget relationships, and translating strategies.

Responsibilities

Define and drive platform strategy and delivery across portfolios with Architecture and AppDev teams.
Build and scale internal platforms, golden paths, and self-service tools to reduce cognitive load.
Scale CI/CD, IaC, GitOps, and DevSecOps practices with security & observability.
Design scalable, cost-effective solutions and enterprise integrations.
Mentor and lead cross-functional teams of Engineers, DevOps, and SRE; manage cloud spend and vendor relations.
Track engineering productivity and reliability metrics (DORA) while controlling cloud costs.
Evaluate and integrate AI/ML tools and cloud-native services into delivery lifecycle.
