Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance for a fleet of up to 60 vehicles and manage a team of technicians across locations. You will ensure repairs and preventive maintenance comply with safety standards and regulations, while optimizing productivity and costs.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and financial acumen, with experience in heavy equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance management within transportation/industrial settings.
• Knowledge of OSHA Haz Com and Lockout/Tagout requirements.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and budget management skills.
• Experience supervising technicians and coordinating shop operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct technicians and lead staff in preventive maintenance and repairs for up to 60 vehicles.
• Plan and schedule repair work to maximize productivity and minimize overtime.
• Monitor shop performance, implement efficiency improvements, and report to management.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programs and control maintenance costs.
