Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance for up to 60 vehicles at one or more locations, directing a team of technicians to perform preventive maintenance and repairs in a safe, compliant, and timely manner.

The role requires strong leadership to plan schedules, monitor performance, and manage costs while maintaining high safety standards across diesel and alternative fuel fleets.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic computer skills and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to all technician levels and oversee scheduling of repair work to maximize productivity and safety.
• Monitor shop performance and implement process improvements to meet safety and maintenance standards.
• Manage outside repair facilities and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programs and manage budgets and staffing.
