Job summary

Republic Services seeks a Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee a fleet of up to 60 vehicles, leading technicians and supervisors, ensuring preventive maintenance and repairs meet safety and regulatory standards. You will plan work, monitor performance, and manage budgets while optimizing downtime and productivity.

Candidates should have strong leadership, root-cause analysis, and financial planning skills, with ASE certifications and a track record in heavy equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to technicians and supervise maintenance supervisors as needed.
• Oversee planning and scheduling of repairs to maximize productivity and minimize overtime.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programs and monitor performance metrics.
• Manage outside repair facilities and ensure compliance with safety and regulations.
• Conduct quality control inspections and document outcomes.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of engine, emission, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
