Job summary

mea is seeking a VP Client Tech in a remote US setting. This client-facing leadership role blends deep insurance domain expertise with technology platform know-how to translate client needs into actionable product outcomes.

You will interface with clients and internal teams, drive end-to-end delivery, and own requirements from discussion through implementation. This position emphasizes ownership, proactive communication, and collaborative problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the insurance domain (underwriting, claims, submissions, or related workflows).
• Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts (APIs, data flows).
• Experience working in client-facing or stakeholder management roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills — both business and technical.
• Prior experience with insurance technology platforms or data processing systems (preferred).
• Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies (preferred).
• Familiarity with data formats (Excel, JSON, APIs) and enterprise workflows (preferred).
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, QA) (preferred).
• Strong ownership and accountability (preferred).
• Ability to balance client expectations with product realities (preferred).
• Proactive communication and follow-through (preferred).
• Structured thinking with attention to detail (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships.
• Engage with client stakeholders to understand business workflows, requirements, and pain points.
• Translate client requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Work with product and engineering teams to prioritize requirements and track progress.
• Address client queries related to product capabilities, integrations, and technical workflows.
• Facilitate regular discussions with clients to provide updates and gather feedback.
• Ensure timely closure of client-reported issues and escalations.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps and suggesting enhancements to the product.
