Job summary

FormativGroup, LLC is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end technology projects in the insurance space, coordinating across business, product, technical, and vendor teams to keep initiatives on track.

You will own planning, risk management, releases, and quality with strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and security, while aligning stakeholders across teams for timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience managing end-to-end technology projects in insurance or regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of insurance functions such as Policy, Claims, Underwriting, or Billing.
• Experience managing scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies and stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including business, product, developers, and vendors.
• Experience leading Agile/Scrum ceremonies and tracking with Jira.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects supporting insurance business functions.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, and vendors to define requirements and plans.
• Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies and track progress in Jira or similar tools.
• Coordinate integrations, upgrades, and production releases.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure quality, security, compliance, and regulatory requirements are met.
