Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Head of B2B Events to design and manage invitation-only experiences for senior technology executives. You will own concepts, venues, vendors, invitations, budgets, and on-site hosting, collaborating with the CEO and account teams to drive meetings and pipeline.

Based in the US or Canada, this remote role requires travel to host events in the US and abroad, with Pacific Coast preferences. A Bachelor's degree and advanced English are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in marketing, of which 4+ years in B2B event marketing or corporate events at B2B companies.
• Personally produced invitation-only experiences for C-level and VP buyers (10-50 guests).
• 4+ years running events aimed at US B2B buyers (US target accounts, US clients, US-based attendees).
• Experience producing events outside your home city, including international or destination events.
• Experience producing events with a CEO, founder or senior executive as host.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce BairesDev's signature executive experiences end to end, hosted by our CEO or senior leaders, including concept, venue, vendors, and on-site hosting.
• Set invitation strategies and build guest lists with commercial teams to meet attendance targets for C-level and VP guests.
• Manage budgets, contracts, venues, hospitality, and vendors, negotiating terms and tracking costs per attendee.
• Measure ROI by attendance, follow-up meetings, and pipeline, and report results to marketing and sales leadership.
• Build annual signature events calendar and a repeatable playbook with formats and vendor rosters.
• Travel regularly to host events in the US and abroad.
