Job summary

Paychex is hiring a field-based Sales professional in Saint Petersburg, FL to drive new business for our payroll and PEO solutions. You’ll prospect, qualify, and close opportunities with brokers and corporate clients, guiding onboarding and ensuring client success.

In this role you’ll leverage Paychex’s Go-to-Market strategy, travel as needed, and partner with internal teams to deliver value. A strong track record in B2B sales and client service is required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• 5 years of relevant sales/sales management experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years of relevant sales/sales management experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision of Sales management and within specific quota attainment guidelines for the position.
• Identify customer needs and present Paychex solutions to stakeholders per client preference.
• Schedule appointments and visit potential and current referral sources, especially brokers.
• Prospect for new clients and referrals using calls, mail, seminars, and events.
• Analyze prospects’ needs and route to the right sales partner for onboarding.
• Complete new business paperwork and weekly activity reports on deadlines.
• Onboard PEO clients, ensuring smooth transitions and quick issue resolution.
• Attend partner meetings to educate on PEO services and processes.
• Travel as needed for conferences or training.
