Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. seeks a Territory Manager to sustain and grow profitability and market share in Toledo, OH and surrounding areas.

You will build relationships with customers through knowledge, service, trust, and integrity while executing major market programs and sample placement. The role requires daily sales calls, product presentations to retailers and end-users, and the ability to handle display fixtures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to interface with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectable manner.
• Must use a laptop and basic Windows software including MS Office.
• Must be able to assemble and take down display fixtures.
• Territory Managers travel by vehicle that can carry product samples; a van or SUV.
• Ability to lift more than 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Make daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products.
• Present products to retailers, designers and end-users and analyze leads.
• Sell and assemble display racks weighing 50 lbs+ regularly.
• Prospect for new accounts while monitoring territory developments.
• Prepare and communicate sales and business reports and forecasts.
• Analyze sales data using territory reports to set goals and support dealers.
• Manage travel and entertainment expenses within budget.
• Enter customer interactions and key information into Salesforce.com.
• Promote residential Shaw products including Shaw Floors, A/T, and Philadelphia Commercial.
