Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager for Hard Surface Flooring to cover the Tulsa, OK market. The role focuses on maintaining and expanding Shaw’s profitability and market share through strong relationships with flooring dealers, designers, and end-users.

The position requires daily sales calls, product promotion, and the ability to build displays and manage budgets. Travel within the territory and occasional evenings are expected; Salesforce.com is used for customer data

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED and 1 year of sales experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to travel in a vehicle capable of carrying product samples; travel within assigned territory.
• Ability to lift product samples and displays up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Make daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products.
• Present products to retailers, designers and end-users; analyze leads from corporate reports.
• Enter customer interactions and key information into Salesforce.com; prepare sales reports.
• Develop new accounts while monitoring market conditions and product needs within the territory.
