Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Shaw Hard Surface Territory Manager to maintain and grow profitability and market share in a defined geography, covering Toledo, OH and surrounding areas.

The role emphasizes relationship building, service, trust and sample placement to drive business growth. The position requires prior sales experience, a high school diploma or GED, and comfort with lifting display fixtures and travelling by van or SUV.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous sales experience is required.
• Ability to interface with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Must be able to use a laptop and basic Microsoft Windows software including MS Office.
• Applicants must be physically able to assemble and take down display fixtures.
• Territory Managers must travel in a vehicle that can carry product samples.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products.
• Present products to retail dealers, designers and end-users and analyze leads.
• Sell and assemble display racks weighing 50lbs+ regularly.
• Prospect for new accounts while monitoring the territory.
• Prepare reports of business transactions and sales volumes.
• Communicate periodic sales reports and market conditions.
• Analyze sales statistics via computer reports to aid goal setting.
• Control travel and entertainment expenditures and sample budget.
• Enter all customer interactions into Salesforce.com.
• Sell and promote residential products including Shaw Floors, A/T and Philly Commercial.
