Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Shaw Carpet Territory Manager to drive sales with existing customers and develop new accounts across residential hard surface products.

You will present products to retailers, designers, and end-users, while analyzing leads and preparing sales reports. You must be able to lift samples up to 50 pounds, travel within the territory, and work a flexible schedule including some evenings.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED required.
• Previous sales experience required.
• Must reside in the market.
• Must be able to travel in a vehicle capable of carrying product sample boards (van/SUV).
• Ability to lift samples and build displays up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Flexible schedule with some evenings.
• Proficient with a laptop and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products.
• Present products to retailers, designers and end-users; analyze leads from corporate reports.
• Sell and construct display racks; expand viable new accounts within the territory.
• Prepare reports of sales transactions and activity; communicate goals and market conditions.
• Analyze sales statistics and travel/entertainment expenditures against budget.
• Enter customer interactions into Salesforce.com; promote Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and Philly Commercial.
