Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to grow profitability and market share in a defined geographic area. The role emphasizes building relationships with retailers, designers and end-users, and applying market programs and sample placement.

Responsibilities include daily sales calls, product presentations, building display fixtures, territory prospecting, and reporting sales performance. Travel within the territory and occasional lifting of sample boards are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous sales experience required.
• Ability to interface with a diverse group of customers.
• Must travel within territory and lift 50 lbs.
• Must reside within territory.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales call on existing customers with emphasis on selling surface flooring products.
• Present products to retail dealers, designers and end-users and analyze leads.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more regularly.
• Prospect for viable new accounts and monitor territory dynamics.
• Prepare reports of business transactions and sales performance.
• Prepare and communicate periodic sales reports and market needs.
• Analyze sales statistics using territory reports to aid dealers.
• Control travel and entertainment expenditures and sample budget.
• Enter all customer interactions and key information into Salesforce.com
