Job summary

RNInk is seeking a hands-on Tax Manager to own the ASC 740 income tax provision and coordinate outsourced tax functions across federal, state, and local levels. The role centers on execution, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with ASC 740 income tax provision and multi-jurisdictional tax compliance.
• Experience working in outsourced tax environments (Big 4 / regional firms).
• Familiarity with Avalara or similar sales tax systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual ASC 740 tax provision and current & deferred calculations.
• Handle journal entries and reconciliations; support provision-to-return true-ups.
• Serve as primary liaison with external tax advisors (RSM) and internal stakeholders.
• Review federal and state income tax returns and workpapers; manage timelines and deliverables.
• Oversee outsourced sales/use tax compliance processes and respond to tax authority inquiries.
