Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is partnering with a U.S.-based manufacturer to recruit a hands-on Tax Manager focused on ASC 740 income tax provision and coordination of outsourced tax functions. You will act as the internal quarterback across external advisors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• ASC 740 income tax provision experience.
• Experience with federal and state tax compliance for C-Corps.
• Familiarity with outsourced tax environments (Big 4/regional firms).
• Working knowledge of Avalara or similar sales tax systems.
• Proven ability to manage audits and respond to tax authorities.
• Strong project management and coordination mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee annual ASC 740 tax provision, including current and deferred calculations, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Serve as primary liaison with external tax advisors and manage timeliness of deliverables.
• Manage sales/use tax compliance processes with outsourced providers.
• Support multi-jurisdictional tax compliance across federal, state, and local levels.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and advise senior leadership on implications.
