6 Degrees Search is seeking a hands-on Tax Manager focused on ASC 740 income tax provision and coordinating outsourced tax functions. The role sits at the center of tax operations, acting as the internal quarterback with external advisors and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will drive provision accuracy, manage federal/state compliance, and oversee sales/use tax processes while identifying opportunities for tax planning and efficiency improvements.

Formación

• ASC 740 income tax provision experience.
• Experience in C-Corp federal and state tax compliance.
• Familiarity with outsourced tax environments (Big 4 / regional firms).
• Working knowledge of Avalara or similar sales tax systems.
• Proven ability to manage audits, resolve tax issues, and work with tax authorities.
• Strong project management and coordination mindset.
• Ability to operate independently in a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves environment.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare annual ASC 740 tax provision and related schedules.
• Serve as primary liaison with external tax advisors and manage timelines.
• Oversee sales/use tax compliance processes and partner cross-functionally.
• Support multi-jurisdictional tax compliance and tax planning initiatives.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and assist with cash flow forecasting related to tax obligations.
• Coordinate tax processes across internal teams and third-party providers.
