The ideal candidate has strong ASC 740 experience, familiarity with Avalara, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, PE-backed manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• ASC 740 income tax provision experience.
• Experience in C-Corp federal/state tax compliance.
• Familiarity with outsourced tax environments (Big 4 / regional firms).
• Knowledge of Avalara or similar sales tax systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual ASC 740 provision with current and deferred calculations and reconciliations.
• Perform provision-to-return true-ups and variance analyses.
• Prepare quarterly estimated tax calculations.
• Liaise with external tax advisors and cross-functional teams.
• Review federal and state income tax returns and workpapers.
• Oversee outsourced sales/use tax compliance processes and filings.
• Support audits and respond to tax authority inquiries.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and assist with planning strategies.
