Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking Production Supervisors for a bakery-focused food manufacturer in North Carolina. The role leads a team of 15–25 employees across first, second, and third shifts, ensuring safe, high‑quality production and meeting daily goals on-site.

You will coach and develop staff, enforce GMPs and food safety standards, monitor performance, coordinate with maintenance and quality, and manage shift handoffs to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production in food manufacturing; bakery or frozen foods preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold employees accountable.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work the assigned shift and support production scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees with clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
